As your new venture takes flight, your success will depend on all the moving parts working together. Figuring out what those parts are and how they fit can be the difference between a smooth take-off and a fiery wreck. At SpringBoard, we help you develop skills and knowledge, pointing you on a flight path toward success.

Using Wendy Kennedy’s proven toolkit, the Venture Runways Program is a nine-week workshop series that helps you answer the questions “So what? who cares? why you?” In a self-paced program, guided by the experienced and knowledgeable SpringBoard staff, you define the real value that your idea has and learn who is really in need of your solution. From there, you craft a roll-out strategy for your product and build the team that will lead you to success. The program has tools to help you get to know your opportunity inside and out.

You finish with a clear, concise description of your business that you present at the final session. Participants will also receive a free six month subscription to PowerPlan Pro, a business planning tool that can help you refine your project even further as well as the book “Get Growing for Business” provided by Scotiabank, which offers practical strategies and advice for building your business.

Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan Inc. offers you, the budding entrepreneur, opportunities to learn about ways to make your business successful.

W.E. offers a variety of business development seminars designed to teach women about different components of business and provide them with the tools to apply this information

Seminars are offered on a regular basis (except during summer) in both Saskatoon and Regina. Contact the offices to be placed on a registration list.
